Jarosław Markieta Partner

Patent Attorney, European Patent Attorney (EQE 2012) and professional representative before the EUIPO; graduate of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Warsaw University of Technology, specialization in Automation and Robotics cum laude. Jarek comprehensively deals with cases concerning modern technologies, in particular inventions in the field of computer technology. He specializes in obtaining patents for inventions, he also conducts patent invalidation cases as well as the infringement of the exclusive rights cases. His specific field of interest is to assist our Clients in the implementation of licensing systems for the use of patents in Poland. Jarek represents our Clients before the Polish Patent Office, EUIPO and administrative and civil courts, he cooperates with customs administrations on matters concerning customs protection of industrial property rights. A member of the International Association for the Protection of Industrial Property AIPPI and of the International Trademark Association INTA actively participates in the work of Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys – where he is a member of Legislative Committee and a member of Traineeship Committee. Małgorzata Zielińska-Łazarowicz Partner

Małgorzata is a lawyer, a registered trademark and patent attorney and a professional representative before the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). She obtained her law degree from the University of Warsaw and completed further postgraduate studies in IP rights and European law there. Małgorzata specialises in IP-related enforcement and litigation in the fields of designs, trademarks (including Community trademarks and designs) and unfair competition law. She represents clients in IP matters before the Polish Patent Office, the EUIPO and the common and administrative courts, advises on various IP issues and prepares legal opinions and licence agreements. She is also experienced in cooperating with Customs on matters concerning border seizures. Małgorzata is a member of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) and the International Trademark Association (INTA) as well as the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys where she is an active member of the Application Committee and the Legislative Committee.
